i was wondering if this is doable: 1 angel, 1 pair of german blue rams, 5 albino corries, 9 cardinals, 1 rubberlip plec. and before anyone says anything yes i know the cardinals can possibly get eaten when my angel is larger. oh the thank is 29 gal(US)

not sure but i'll have a go
possible conflict with angel and rams as both are cichlids
as you've mentioned angel will eat cardinals when he's big enough
coreys and plec should be fine as long as he doesn't grow too big, and i'd go for a sand substrate for the coreys sake, can damage their barbels digging on gravel all day long.

sure someone will correct me if im wrong
all the best

the neons will probably be giant neons (or x large, large, extra large whatever the store likes to put these days0 average is about 1.5" but often seen at up to 2" in stores near me

been thinking about getting one to chuck in with my normal neons just to make people go "wow look at that one" lol.

Its my understanding that when you are mixing things like Angels and Rams (as pointed out, both cichlids), this can be done.. The key point is to ensure that they have their own space and can feel protected. This can be achieved by using the decor to define areas of the tank for each to reside.

A number of people choose cardians over neons so that they can keep them in the same tank as Angelfish. I have also had it recommended to me to add the Anglefish last (if its not already in the tank) as this may help the angels be less teritorial. Adding younger angelfish may also help them learn to live with things like cardinals.

my angel is already in the tank but it is a small young one....about 3 inches from nose to the end of the tail. well does my stocking look good? any issues that havent been covered already?
