Sorority Tankmates

I have a 30 gal tank with 5 girls & 3 ottos in it, I was wondering if a group of molly's would be acceptable tankmates? I was going to add another 3 ottos to it.

what fish do you mean by girls?

mollys and ottos should be fine together

I think she meant female Bettas. I havnt had them w/ mollies but mine lives fine with balloon mollies.

5 female bettas, I wanted to add a couple livebearers... I've tried guppies once and they were fine with my male up to a group of 4 then they went after my male betta and he was rehomed... I'm not sure if they'll do it to my girls or not, but I don't want to rehome again...

If the ottos are working nicely, best to get more of them since you know your bettas and them are getting along.

Normal mollies can be quite boistrous... not sure i'd do it personally. I think platies are better - a bit smaller and less full of attitude, lol
