So my marine aquarium is looking a little worse for wear with dots of green algae all over the glass and floating on top of the water (admittedly I've been a bit slack... I'll kick myself later). But there's dozens of these things all over my glass, ranging from what look like tiny little dots with legs, to these guys. I'm assuming they're some kind of 'pod, but I'm wondering what they are exactly and if they're dangerous. It's probably a little bit impossible to remove them now as there's literally dozens... I'm not worried at this stage though as my tank is empty except for whatever hitch hikers I've picked up along the way.

So, here's a couple of pics:

The name escapes me right now. I'll look it up for you tonight. I know, however, that they are pretty harmless and fish love eating them.

Thanks so much for the help guys!
They're pretty cool to watch, running around on the glass and occasionally letting go and drifting somewhere new in the currents. Awesome!
