Here are some photos of my African cichlid rank which is 182litres (48gallons) it currently has two bristlenose pleco, one dragon blood peacock cichlid and two electric yellows. Rocks are slate and I think the plant is hornwort.

I am hoping to get one more electric yellow once I work out what sex the ones I have are....Plus some other fish :)

I love cichlids. I cant have another tank yet tho!

Yes I don't think I will get another tank for a while I have two more to setup and that means i will Have four:lol:

Yup that is hornwort, I use my hornwort as a floating hiding place for fry. Mystery snails love to eat it. Years ago my 55 gallon tank was an African Cichlid tank when I was given 8 rescue cichlids. I enjoyed watching them until I had to remove my other fish and they took over the tank with their fry. I had only plastic plants but they rooted even those up and moved them around. ;)

Haven't had any problem with them rooting up the plant or taking over the tank with babies :)

You need a picture on the back of the tank, and some floating plants like Water Sprite (Ceratopteris thalictroides/ cornuta).
The water sprite can be planted in the substrate or grown on the surface.
