I thought i'll show you my new Gourami's as i think they are wonderful and seems to be happy playing hope you like them too Don't really know what kind of Gourami the one with the black dots? got sold as a pearl but don't think it is?

Thank's I was told these were females when i get them was the LFS right? I think they are having a short dorsal fin?

they are also known as just Blue gouramis

the blue gourami is known to be more aggressive than the pearl. keep an eye on the behavior, you could end up with bullying.

Thank's for your advice and i'll keep a close eye on him/her any signs of bullying back to the LFS

awsome set up!! and some very healthy looking females. looks like an 3 spot gourami more specificly (the opaline gourami) and a lace gourami i think owelll good luck with them! i have a golden gourami which is essentially just a differnt colour morf of the opaline gourami. he is in with RTBS and upside down cats and is holding his own. he is slightly agresssive towards a single surviving barb that is left so keep an eye one any smaller fish that you might add in the future.
