Some Of My Bettas...

Took some pics of my bedroom bettas earlier so thought i'd post them up I'll warn you now that theres lots of pics, so sorry!! But they're cute, honestly!!

First ones my Marble HM and CT... I cant remember if i posted about it on here but they had a bit of an accident a couple of weeks ago (thanks to my cat Simon ) He managed to move the divider when trying to get the lid off to have a drink.. The HM went under the divider and as im sure you can imagine, the result wasn't very pleasant! Luckily they weren't together for more than about 15 mins or i guess the HM would be dead

Anyway, here's the CT. His fins are growing back nicely. He only had a few rays nipped off

And here's the HM who didn't get off quite so lightly!! That CT is nasty But he's doing fine and his fins are also growing back well

And heres a new guy i bought today. No idea what colour you'd call him. Red, blue, green and black? lol

And my Red HM who is just beautiful!! He's FINALLY looking better after being particularly stressed from shipping! He has some damage to his fins as you can see but he's still gorgeous

And lots of pics of my orange pair! Im planning to spawn them in a week or so and someone told me to have more chance of them actually spawning its a good idea to place the female in the males tank for about 10-15 mins every few days. I have no idea why, but its worth a try i guess Anyway, i think he loves her

And so do i?! Could she be any cuter?!

And of course, the boy is beautiful too

Fin rot? Um.. Where are you seeing that cos i've been really careful with both to make sure they dont get fin rot and im fairly certain he hasn't...

And the orange plakats are the ones im planning to spawn

It must be me then but on the dorsal fin and tail i can see white to greyish patches on the ends of the fins.

That's probably re-growth, if I had to say. It's usually those colors. Every case of fin rot mine have had, has either been red or black.

Oh, yeah thats where its growing back He's a marble so has lots of different colours but the ends of his fins are white so they seem to be growing back clear I can assure you that he's happy enough though, he's eating VERY well (he looks fat in the pics i think!lol) and swims around fine.

Ooh, and the Orange boy is arorable isn't he? The red one has blue eyes too actually but he's really hard to get a pic of cos he's in a round bowl He's gorgeous though, i love him!

Those are starting to look very pretty. what happened to thier fins. Or did I miss a post or something...

Its only the first two that have a problem with their fins. They got through their divider and had a fight which ended up in shredded fins

The rest are short finned bettas so they're supposed to look like that! Except for the red one.. He had a chew of his tail during shipping and has quite a big chunk missing, but he's still lovely

Ahh, they rock I might just have to have some orange plakat babies when you get some
