yep nelly sure is mate . after the pretty but ultimately quite boring discus , i wanted some character and mischief. i thought the names should reflect that and cheech and chong seemed perfect

they are coming out of their shells now , and just have mischief written all over their faces !! i know that with these 2 im basicly fullystocked , but do you think i could get away with adding some sort of catfish for the bottom? something like a synodontis angelicus? or would that be too much?

as i say to folk, try to feed them a few different types of pellets and frozen prawns etc etc, then if you run out or shop stops selling you have a fall back, or they suddenly chose not to eat,you have fall back plan

been reading up on that very thing. apparently live shrimp is excellent for re igniting an oscars appetite . and i can get them cheap as chips as my lfs sells river shrimp as livefood
