Hi everyone!!
So my LFS has a great stock of cichilds at really reasonable prices (and now I'm spoilt for choice really, not a bad thing tho
)... might just have to get more tanks t-he!
Anyway, my tank is 248l/65G planted tank PH 7.5 GH 16d temp 26* with a 1500 powerhead filter. Stock wise I have: -
6 pearl danios
18 neon tetras
3 SAE
And following various threads on here I have umm and ahhh'd a bit but have settled on a pair of cockatoo cichilds, I popped into the shop at lunch time and he keeps trying to get me to have aggassisi's and said I could get away with two pairs.... am I pushing my luck!? The thing is I also saw that he has kribs and I really fancy one of those now... could I have a pair of cockatoos and a pair of kribs or wud u recommend I have a single krib due to their protective instincts re: breeding? For that matter, is the protectiveness limited to just kribs or should I be mindful of the cockatoos aswell? There is a thread on here about singletons and am confused as to whether I should just keep individual examples?
I get paid Friday so am going to pick them up Saturday (will do a 50% water change Friday night in preparation for my special new additions sooo excited!!!) Before my final selection is made - what do you think??
