Snakeskin Gourami

Anyone have any experience with these fish? I want to put one in a community tank. I hear they can get up to 8 inches. I also hear they're very peaceful. Do you think he'd eat my ghost shrimp?

all i know is you need a huge tank if you have a pair as there spawns are huge and can reach up to 5000 fry

I have 2 of these beautiful gourami's and yes they do get big, mine are in a 300l tank They are one of the most peaceful gourami I have, but I have never kept shrimp so I couldnt answer that one.

yeah, i think i'd keep a single one for that reason.
