 :fish: I personally like snails, mostly because they are bizzare and interesting to have in the tank. Ive had a couple of guppies die before and found my giant snail ( Tiger ) sucking their guts out - on two seperate occasions. Is this normal? He is now passed on...Also how long do freshwater snails live?

Im also concerned that snails pick up more disease because they eat everything...therefore easily being contaminated...Is this true? Anyone please help....anyinfo is good info...well mostly.

:THANKYOU:

Snails wouldn't hunt fish, but they would gobble up one that has died. I'd say most species would live 1-2 years.

My snails have never picked up any diseases. I think it's a uncommon situation actually.

Disease is fairly rare, and when it does happen it's not really due to the fact that they eat everything :good: .
