Hi all,

Bought some new plants quite a while ago and have now got alot of unwanted snails.

Are there any easy solutions to get rid of them all?

It seems as though everytime I get rid of the majority they reproduce rapidly.

several options here . clown loaches ( depending on the size of your tank) assassin snails . or simply put a piece of lettuice weighted down on your substrate at lights out , in the morning it should be covered in snails , remove and repeat until you stop getting snails .

I have a 180 Litre tank with;
2x 3 spot gourami
2x Glow light tetras
5x neon tetras
2x yellow leopard guppys
2x pepper catfish
1x plec

Not keen on assassin snails, if I could have clown loaches with my set up, then great! =)
If not the lettuce solution will have to suffice.

id give the lettuice trick a go , as unfortunately your tank is too small for clowns . also on a sidenote , your glowlights will be happier if you added another 4 .

Brilliant. Thank you for the advice. =)
Will get some more glow lights at the weekend.

no probs , glad to be of help . good luck with the snails .

Since i've got all my fish and tank details in this thread already,
After I've added the extra glow lights, what else would you suggest stocking?
Or would that be complete?

Thanks in advance. =)
