Got myself a small 45cm x 30cm tank at the weekend at my absolute favourites aquascaper in Newton Aycliffe.
This was to replace 2 smaller tanks that I had set up for breeding, but never actually got any breeding done.
I got myself the most exciting bit of wood to work into the tank, and I also indulged myself with 10 green neon tetra and a pair (hopefully) of scarlet badis.
I never visit this place without seeing fish there that I haven't seen anywhere else. it's amazing what they come up with. I was told specifically about the Badis being "unfriendly" to shrimp and that they weren't as easy to keep as some species.
I put the tank together using plants that I had stored from a previous build that weren't needed.
Everything is now finished and as I'm using filters- 2 of them, from a fully cycled tank I am doing a fish-in cycle.
For a look-see, the tank is showing live from time to time. Excuse the glare from outside that appears on the tank.
Hope you like.....
