Buy a new tank. Honey Gourami stay small right? I think it's a great idea to set up a new tank I believe they're not a fan of 'fresh' tanks though.

Not an option.  I have ONE place in our entire place suitable for tanks (and it holds a 10g and 20g and quaratine tank)... nowhere else is possible to keep another tank.  See?  *big sigh*  I have to wait about 2 years for my guppies to get old and die!
