kH: unknown
gH: unknown (dont have tests)
tank temp: 80
Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): I recently bought two red head tapajos from out of town, it was about an 8 hour drive and they were in a styrofoam box and the fish shop used some drug in the water to sedate them. They both arrived/acclimated fine until I noticed, 4 days after putting them in the tank, one had large white masses on fins. It's head is shrunk in and it seems to have a very hard time breathing (gasping at surface for air). The other fish has no fungus, doesn't have a shrunken head and is acting normally.
Volume and Frequency of water changes: 50% weekly. Since noticing the sickness I've done 50% every day.
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: Added primafix this evening.
Tank inhabitants: Cucko catfish, pictus catfish, real parrot cichlid, rio olimar, rainbow cichlid, Aulonocara lwanda, and a recently removed aratus after I noticed him nipping the fins of the tapajo
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): no recent additions besides the red headed tapajo
Exposure to chemicals: fish keeper added oxygen and an unknown chemical to calm the fish during the drive
Digital photo (include if possible):
