Sick Gourami

We have had this Gourami for about 6 weeks, the lump on the side has been growing and he now just lies around the bottom of the tank or swims upright but is still eating, new to fish keeping so any help appreciated, photos attached, thanks !

I'm not an expert by any means but I just lost a dwarf gourami with similar symptoms to dwarf gourami virus. I had no idea of its existence but here is some information: http/www.fishchannel.com/fish-health/disease-prevention/fish-viral-disease.aspx As a note, in the article it says the virus is highly contagious but my understanding is that its only highly contagious to other specialty dwarf gouramis.

Thanks for that, I have another in with him and he seems absolutely fine but was bought a few weeks earlier.  Off home now and worried that it may be dead
