Can someone please give me some advice, i have a very sick fish :(

I have a new 70L tank setup - about 2 weeks old. I started out with 6 cichlids one has already died and looks like im about to loose a second.. I started with two electric yellows, two electric blues and two black with white spots (not sure what they're called).
I have not physically tested the water conditions - going to do so tomorrow but i put all the things that the fish store recommended to keep ammonia and nitrate and ph levels correct, and have done one 50% water change since having the tank set up.
I feel like its something other than water conditions as 4 of the fish are happy and swim a lot. The first fish (electric yellow) to die was about a week ago. He was originally really active then one morning was on the bottom of the tank, didn't eat, breathed really fast and would not swim unless another fish came near - though he didn't appear to have been bullied... He died that night.. Since then the other fish have been a bit less active, hiding a bit more etc but still seem healthy and come up to the surface to eat etc. But tonight i have just found the smallest fish really unhappy - same symptoms as the other fish but has also lost his colour dramatically (he is a black one who now looks grey). I gave him a salt bath for 5 mins and have then kept him separate to the others..
I dont think he will last long but i want to make sure the others don't die! I was going to introduce more fish but want to make sure they wont die too!
I have read about fish bloat a bit, seems like it could be this??
Any advice would be great. Please and thank you.

If you've only had it for 2 weeks it's highly likely you've not cycled your tank and it is probably due to water quality. I'd change a large amount of water now and do this continuously every day.

I'd also get a test kit asap to find out what's going on with your water.

Probably ammonia poisoning due to uncycled tank! A beginners mistake!

Sounds about right.  Deffo uncycled tank. If you cannot rehome the fish you have or take them back to the store temporarily I would suggest you read up about fish in cycling on this forum.  Lots of good advice can be found on here.

All the best with your situation

Same as above. Also your tank is really to small for african cichids unless you were looking to upgrade soon. cheers

Thank you ive had a good read up on it. Can't beleive they didnt tell me this at the store! I brought a quick set up mix that the guy recomended - he said this would get the ammonia, nitrate levels right. Obviously the quick fix didnt do it!

As lunar said. 50 percent water changes a day until water is right. You will need a test kit to check. Good luck
