My male black molly has white feces, which i heard may be a sign of parasites. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I would really like my tank to be healthy. :(

this is pretty important to me if someone could help please quick

i ts not really string liek coming off in long strands but it was a white glob of poo that was hanging and fell off. He is also only hanging out at the bottom and not really acting much, at least not as much as the female is.

Thanks, I already know, but what shold I do man?

no i dont...how can i be sure my others arent affected

Well im sorry but I think you need to put the infected fish down get him stress coat put him in a dark room in a bucket and put clove oil in it it's like putting a dog to sleep and get a new net cause parasites can be transfered by net

i will put him to sleep but may I just clean the net in the dishwasher, and the other thing is how do i know the others are fine at the moment.

You don't have to put the fish down, you need anti-parsite meds. Metronodazole works best, if you can get it. Where you located?

one more thing...how can i be perfectly sure hes affected, hes not totally active but hes flapping his fins, he reacts to movement, and he swims with the female. I only saw the poop once so i dont know. I dont want to kill for no reason.
