Hi

I added 2 clown loaches into my 180 lt community tank last week. They are really shy and I have only seen them a couple if times. The waters been tested and it's fine, but they just don't want to come out and swim around. Is this normal for them? Do they come out and feed at night or summit?

Thanks. Matt

Yes thats normal, with time they'll get used to you and they will become more tame.
BTW a 180 litre tank is way too small for 2 Clown Loaches, no matter how little they currently are

they can be quite shy & may only come out when it's dark, they also get way too big for a 180l tank.

Oh, thanks for the advice. Typicial sales man then, I asked him if they would be ok in my tank and he said they would be fine. I spose if he said no he wouldn't of had made a sale. What should I do with them?

Matt.

they are a very shy fish
till they get themselves
settled in but i would say
that 180liters is a tad on the
small side for two clown loaches

Return them
Sell them on here or on ebay or aquarist classified

Thanks very much for the advice. I'll ring the shop tomorrow and see what they say bout returning them.
? Sell them on eBay? Mare you allowed to sell livestock on the bay? Collection only I presume?!

Thanks. Matt

You can sell livestock on ebay. Either via a special courier or collection :good:
