hey, why is it that everytime i turn my lights on in the tank all the fish kinda crash to the bottom of the tank?

cuz its sorta a shock to them, just like when ur sleeping and someone turns on the lights in ur room

i read up somewhere that fish dont have eyelids so before you switch your main tank lights on, switch the room lights on and open the curtains leave that for a few minutes then do the tank lights...
