I was looking in my tank tonight and saw that one of my two male gouramis ( I have three, 2 male and 1 female) is looking smaller than the other two and is looking colourless, kinda shrivvel up looking.

I just did a fairly large water change and cleaned the tank walls of algae. Perhaps that is the problem?

Also there are a lot of snails in my tank, so I tend to crush them and let my fish eat them, but most of the fish have eaten some...

Please help,

also my tank is about 8 in x 8 in x 8 in.

Thanks

i may aswell answer you question while iam here :) it may of been your other male gourami as they sometimes do tend to be territorial and as you said its smaller so its most likely he's given up the challenge and kind of hiding from him its best to have 2females per male so is there any other tanks that you could put him in
