shell dweller shells

Hi,

I'm thinking about getting some Neolamprologus ocellatus, or similar size shellie, and was wondering what kind of size shells these guys need? I've found someone who sells turbo snail shells which I thought would be ok but was unsure how big they needed to be!

Usually, 1 - 2 inches (opening space) is recomended.

Have you thought of using the giant barnicle shell formations? They will appreciate some of them. They look good when stacked too.

apple and escargot shells work well too.
