shark cat behavior

[silvertipped shark cat]

i bought a silver tipped shark cat and three tiger barbs yesterday and he hasn't stopped swimming back and forth on the top in front of the light then goin under down a bit does a flip and starts swimming back and forth again. I was wondering wats wrong with it? and is there anything i can do to help it?

How long have you had you tank up and running???What is you Ammonia levels and nitrite and nitrate and also ph levelsThis very important to know before someone could start trying to figure out what is the matter....

If it's a columbian shark catfish, mine was acting wierd like that when they were wanting me to increase the salinity. I increased it to 1.005 and they calmed way down and started acting like fish.
