Don't know if this is really a Christmas thing but my 'back yard' sure looks like Christmas to me. This is actually from last year but thought that I'd share as it sure is pretty.

had Christmas dinner with my daughters and one granddaughter today, the rest off visiting paternal kin. We had Taco Casa, throw away dishes, no present exchange for adults, least stressful holiday ever.

I haven't had a big christmas tree in this house since the dogs came in, actually made this one the first time in December 2007, before they came in. (I am allergic, had to get rid of carpet, etc) Anyway, the quilt hoop hangs on the wall and all my decorating parts fit in one modestly sized box. Merry merry. No tree to throw out or giant box to store and the dogs can't knock it over. Kitten had ambition, however
