I have read that if the ph in the tank is more than 7 all of the fry will be male and if it's below 7 they will all be female. How sensitive is this because my ph is 7.4 so will I get all male or could I get some female as well as it's not that far over 7. Also do you recommend keeping the fry with their parents to grow up naturally or taking them out and putting them in a separate tank

Having pH at one or the other will not produce ALL of one sex of fish.   The species would go extinct!!

It just means you will have the majority of one, but it should always amount to both sexes.

The recommended method would be removing the male.  It is very beneficial and will result in more fry that survive if the female is present, as she will mother the fry, leading them to and from food, and safety.  The reason for removing the male is that he would be at risk for being attacked by the female, as she will become extremely protective over they fry, but it seems if the tank is large enough, there is no concern of this as he will be able to steer clear of the spawning site.

Ok thank you very much but you do get some animals that only produce one sex eg tortoise shell cat will only produce females and if they do produce a male he is sterile so it does happen which is why I was asking and would the male kill the female if he thinks that she is not doing a good enough job

I leave the male and female together, then remove 75% of the fry once free swimming.
The batch I have in a grow out tank right now are male and female, I used seachem neutral ph when the eggs were layed.

Will kribensis always spawn in the same cave and also would they spawn in two different caves at the same time

LOL yea you are referring to a color variation of feline, the reason they don't produce males is because they have been inbred for color and have lost some of the reproduction genes.  They would not exist like that naturally in the wild, as you see with wild cats.

Not sure, mine always spawned in the same place. They will probably use whichever one feels the most secure.

Ok thank you the only reason I asked is that I put the pot in that the female spawned in the first time she spawned and they cleared it out but now they have started clearing out under my PVC pipe. Is that normal and also what are good either fish for the kribensis as I have platys in there at the minute but think I might need something a little faster

As I told you before, with your tank size, the best is no other fish in there. :)

I tried them without any fish in there and they started picking and chasing each other but when I put the fish back in the started flirting again and I was planning to remove the platy's when the fry hatched out

Yes I have just ordered a 200litre community tank to replace my 110litre so that 110litre would be free for the kribensis to live in or to be used as a grow out tank for the fry
