Got this sev from our local PAH a couple of months ago. It was in with green sevs but it stood out as it was a totally different colour from the rest and the silver colour caught our eye. So as it was only £3 we bought it out of interest. Its now about 2ins and its still unusual to us compared to other green sevs we've seen. Its hard to get a pic to show its true colours but it is pale silver with a sheen of blue and yellow on the body it has blue on its face and at times you can see faint red squiggles across it nose. When it displays to other sevs its eyes don't go red, they go a steel bluey/grey. Is it just a green or a mix of something else.

looks like a green severum. they can vary in colour but id say because you have a light background it's blending in more with its suroundings. i could be wrong though

Could be a green/golden mix. Where did you get it from? I know someone who sold a load of green/golden severum fry to a Pets At Home a few months back.
I think its hamfist who has a very stunning and unusual green severum as his avatar. I think that's the members name.

Edit. It is hamfist. If you search for him you'll see his avatar.

By the way, if you don't want the sev, I'll have him of course. :fun:

Did you ever see his fry Micko. I always thought when you crossed gold and green that green was the dominant gene so the fry would all be green. Would be interesting to hear from anyone thats ever crossed the two
