Hello!
I have been keeping fish for about 6 years but about a year ago all my fish got a disease and I could not contain it and I ended up losing them all and putting the fish tank in the loft.
About two weeks ago I decided I wanted to set up again so did. Water was in for two weeks, everything fine, bought just two guppies 2 mollies and a peppered cory. My mum bought some danios for her tank but I accidentally took hers with me so I've also got three danios.
Question is the molly I have is female and most probably pregnant - I asked for a male but upon a bit of research I believe she is female. She was 'bullied' by the male at first but then as soon as I turned off the light she went slightly mental and started attacking all of the fish. This morning I put her in a breeding tank for a minute while I had a think of what I needed to do. I took her out once I spoke to the fish place and it seems she is a changed woman. Before she was hiding and attacking now she is peacefully swimming around a little but still hiding. Is this something to do with babies coming?
I have only ever had a couple of these fish before and they were no problem.
Is this definitely a female and a pregnant one also?
Thanks
