Scratch in glass: should I worry?

I have a glass five gallon with a scratch in the bottom glass panel from being irresponsible with a hardscape rock. It's ~1" (2.5 cm) long, can catch your nail a little bit, not close to the frame, and is pretty visible. The glass is 3mm thick. Should I worry about it?

Welcome to the forum! I don't think that's something to be overly concerned about. Could you put up a picture?

A scratch should be fine, a crack however......

I wouldn't worry about that, especially in such a small tank. If it cracks then you should be concerned

Depends on how deep the scratch is. If it's slightly in the surface of the glass, there shouldn't be any worries about it.
