I need help on how to feed this guy, had him 3 weeks, and have not seen him eat, he`s getting rather skinny, i`ve tried seringing food next to him, and just skips over it. im worried as he will die unless he eats. i`ve ran out of ideas on how to help this little guy, he brings so much life to the base, as he skips across the bed. It would be a shame to lose him.

i had one of those. mine would eat my frozen brine shrimp. do you have LR in your tank? i've read that when will feed of of copepodes or something like that on the LR.

I have read that Dragonets are the same family as mandarins and will only survive if there are lots of copepods for them to eat. You may be able to get them to take other foods but they will not survive (so I read) without enough copepods.

Recommendations seem to be large well established tank with lots of live rock so that they get enough pods.

I read up on them as I saw them in the LFS and thought they were gorgeous little fish. Good luck and I hope he make sit.
