In my Palmer tank, there is one neon and 2 danios. i am aware that these fish like to be in larger numbers, however a eariler tank problem killed off their schoolmates  they get along great, the 3 of them school together. They are about the same size. should i leave them be or see if they want more friends? id love to get more neons, but i dont want to disturb the tranquility of the tank. will these oddballs accept some newbes, or are they likely to fight? the tank is 15 gallons, so there is room for more fish, i just cant decide how to do it. any ideas?

I agree with others :). Altho, I do have just 2 Zebra Danios because I got them for cycling purposes, and have had them for 2 months now. They seem fairly happy with just the 2 of them (breeding regularly and all), and I'm not sure I'm going to have room for a whole school with the plans I have for my tanks :(. Ideally, I'd like to have a whole school.
