8) Hi, none of the local pet stores here in Utah carry sand for fresh water tanks, not even Wal mart. I've considered buying a 20 pound bag of coarse sand and boiling it then baking it for an hour or so. I've also considered going to Utah lake which is just down the street and getting a couple pounds and boiling and baking it. Any ideas. I don't want to order the sand on line, postage is too much.
My cousin is moving soon and is giving me his elephant nose, I need to set up a cave in my 55 gallon tank with some sand for the poor fellow to nose around in. Any ideas are welcome thanks.
