So it looks like I ma have a parasite in my balloon Molly fry tank... Will be doing a large water change today...over the course of a few hours (or days?) I will raise the temp to 86 degrees (?) ...and doing a salt bath...I have aquarium salt which I will be using...if I have the tank filled up with about 7 gallons of water, how much salt do I put in? D I add it slowly, and if so, how? D I put salt in every day? I really need your guy's help because I don't want my fry to die! Thank you!

Alright, so I just went ahead (after doing alot of research) and took out more than half of the water...until there was about 3 gallons left (it was originally filled with about 7 gallons). Then I added salt to the tank by refilling the tank with a half gallon every now and then and dissolving salt into each container bfore I added it...The tank is now filled again with about 7 gallons and with a ratio of about 1 tablespoon of aquariums salt for every gallon of water. I am also slowly raising the tempurature to about 85-86 F...the baby fish don't seem stressed...I will continue to pull out about a gallon or 2 of water every day and refill it with the appropriate amount of salt and water...

Does it sound like I'm doing this right?

Thanks,
Meg
