ive re arranged the forground slightly and added 12 gold cloud mountain minnows.

another update pic. stems are taking shape now. no issues as yet regarding algae. all is good.

The Hemianthus has really grown and you have a beautiful shape going on the "Rotala species" in the back. Very rounded. I like it.

well there has been a change since i last posted. my riccia dided due to an accidental overdose of easy carbo :crazy:

any how, ive added some moss from my big tank.... as you can see

its got to grow in a bit but it looks better than the riccia i reckon.

I agree that the moss looks better than the Riccia. It brings a nice contrast to the aquascape. The whole thing looks absolutely fantastic.
 
Love the 'mushroom Plateau' in there. looks cool.

That Lily pipe is massive in that tank. lol.

as some of you may allready know, ive ripped this tank apart and started a new scape. i was a tough decision but it was the best thing for me to do if i plan on getting any better at aquascaping.

i think i'll just carry on with this thread and show you how things are going with the new set up.

this is 1 week later with 8 red eye tetras added. the filter is the same filter as before so no cycle to go through, thankfully....

thanks shadowmeld, yes its a great peice of wood. its been sitting in the back garden for months, and was nice to get a chance to use it eventualy.
