Rock Stacking

hi guys, i have a 160uk gallon tank were i keep my mbuna cichlids.

iv recently purchased more rocks, which i want to stack a little higher then current ones, im wondering can i stack against the back wall of tank? or with it been such a large tank will it eventually weaken the glass?? im already pretty jumpy of anything going near it because of its size! lol

I have a 300g tank with tangs and i have about 400kgs of rock stacked up about 22" or so. Its risky but i'm crazy and took the risk and i've been winning so far.
