ok i got my 170 gallon and im looking to start this one right so i need an ro unit wich ones do you all recomend? i want a good one to use with city water.

I suppose that would get pretty pricey getting a unit to supply enough water for a 170gal

At LEAST a 100GPD membrane for sure. Make sure you get a TDS meter and a unit that comes with a flush valve/kit. Will really prolong the life of your membrane. If you ask me, paying big bucks for the ones with all the "bells and whistles" is a waste of time. Check ebay, buckeyefieldsupply.com, filterguys.com for reasonable prices. I personally use a no-name ebay unit. Gives me about 1-2ppm TDS all the time...
