My Columbian Spotted Pleco, Paul, has died. I was on a trip and don't know for sure why but I believe he drowned or starved. When I got back he was sitting on the bottom which is normal for a pleco but then I noticed a few minutes later that he still had not moved. He was stuck in some of the plants and was very hard for me to remove. Water parameters check out as normal, this tank is 1.5 years old and is rather established with consistent parameters.

He was much to young. This is the first fish Im legitimately sad about dying, first time it wasn't one of my schooling fish.

RIP Paul, you will be missed

Sorry about your loss. He sure was a gorgeous pleco. I lost a BN too soon as well.. just 5 years old. On average, plecos can live 10 years or more.
