Right, as i love plec's so much mainly bristlenose's, i was wondering instead of having a few fish and a few bettas in my 15 gallon, to have 2 Bristlnose's (1m + 1f)

Maybe they will breed?

Also would adding 1 male betta to the tank prevent the fish from breeding?

So the whole tank inhabitance, would probably be, immigrent snails, 2 bristlnose's and 1 male betta... Could it work?

I belive that the tank is cycled, but i would add a betta first, just to make sure its all stable, and i will add some wood, and a small cave of some sort, for the male BN, and finally the BN's.

:D Liking your bn idea......baby bristlenoses are soooooo sweet. I'm afraid I don't know much about bettas,so I can't advise whether having one with your bns is wise or not. :dunno:
Do follow through with the bns though and keep us updated.

Ha sorry to keep spamming this topic, but i really need to know if it'l be ok to keep a betta in the tank, as i will be purchasing one to morrow.

a betta with the bn's will be fine. no issues there. betta may eat fry, but then, so might any other fish large enough...............

ok Cool thanks, one thing i have noted from past experience, sometimes my betta gets annoyed with my long finned BN lol, because it swish's its tail around at the betta lol.
