where can you buy riccia fluitans cheaply (LFS doesn't have it)
and its like £10 on ebay.

also and advice on this plant?
needs high light/co2?
how fast does it grow?

Lots of lfs near me sell it, where you from?

Easy to care for esp if floating, if tying to a mesh for a carpet it's also quite easy, I had a Riccia lawn in a low tech with small scale dosing.

Oh and bare in mind once you got it, you got it for life lol I found some during a new scape and the old set up didn't have it, just some of the plants were from a previous scape with Riccia in and a tiny bit must have crept in lol.

i want it for the 2f tank ... which iv just set up... i think it might look nice covering some wood or something. iv got HC and some moss's which i can mix in with it and hopefully it would look good =]
+ i like collecting different types of plants =D

Me too lol, I accidently have HC growing amongst my needle fern in Cuban Delight now, doing well too so HC on wood can be done.

very nice... i orderded some HC about 1 month ago... with no use for it...its been sitting in my propigation tank slowly growing =D no heater... semi emersed
