I rescaped last week. I purchased all new plants from a place online...fantastic place that had fantastic packaging. No wet newspaper. All plants were marked securely in ziplock bags which contained wait and air. This helped cushion them in transit as well. I'll give a plug later for US folks.

Anyway, I purchased a whole bunch of plants which I don't remember the names of. They all have taken with zero loss. I have recently gone DIY CO2 and also upgraded my lighting from 1.1 WPG to 2.

My specific question is...I received some wisteria and it's rooting halfway up the stem and into the sand. The main stems are only about 6" high. To propagate I cut below the rooting section and replant correct? Also, should I wait for the wisteria to grow taller before propagating?

As a side note, I fine my placing too symmetrical and will be moving plants around later to fill in spots and unclutter others. Any other suggestions are much appreciated.

Pardon the poop. My fish have to be the heaviest poopers ever of late.

Nice start.Regarding the the wisteria, you're right.Just pinch it out and replant. It depends on how you want it to look. You can let it get tall and gangly ;or the more you prune it, the bushier it will get.
Plus whenever you do this...more stems...bigger clump of wisteria.
