Absolutely, positively not. The turtle requires warm water, the newts require heavily vegetated cold water- and the turtle will kill the newts, regardless.

yeah the more i read about newts the more i realize i can’t get one. i should have read more before bothering the forum. sorry.
i read some guy had a “wonderful newt” for 20 years and that made me curious.
