Repairing Bettas

Well i put my guy in his new home on monday and he is perking up nicely after being attack by my breeding angels. He swimming fine, eating again, generally happier than before.

Thing is his fins are rather torn and would like him to grow back to his old self.
My question is this, how quickly does a bettas fins grow back and is there anyway to help the healing process.

bettafix and a pinch of aquarium salt
also plenty of water changes, keep him nice and clean
that should do the trick, the fins will grow back usually but probably not to their full former glory
