Regarding Breeding Mollies & Swordtails

have both mollies and swordtails, 5 gallon tank, roughly 5 of each species? will they breed sucessfully? thanks!

It sounds to me like youre kind of overstocked. If I were you,Id get a ten gallon and put the ten fishes in there and use the 5 gallon for fry. You might have a better outcome with a baby tank and a bigger one for the parents.

Yea you sound a bit over stocked. And swordtails can get kinda big, so I would upgrade to 10 gallons
