i cleaned and redecorated my 5gal yesterday. i was trying to go for a 'beach' theme. i like it and i used beach rocks. it has 2 ghost shrimp and my african dwarf frog, Waldo. i have a blue incandescent light in there (florescent ing the pic) so i watch waldo at night (they are nocturnal). he was just swimming and swimming!!
i put them molly that was in there back in my tropical tank and i saw that the goldfish had the early signs of dropsy so he is in a medicated quarantine tank.

thanks! i alway have to find him to make sure he didnt jump out so what a better name than "where's waldo"? :hyper:

i never thought i would be a frog person but i do love him and they are easy to keep. i just wouldnt get a non aquatic frog :p
here are some pics of him. i love the first one :)

Love the rocks and the placement of them. Like the background too, very effective indeed. :good:

Nice job!

i have like 5 or 6 backgrounds for that tank. when i go to the craft store i pick up cool scrapbook paper. i use 2 sheets to make a background. theres lots of options :good:

I like it :)

I was thinking of setting up my old 5 gallon for my Betta, I may take some inspiration from you :D

i think that would be a great idea! 5 gallons are the perfect size. i think 10 gals are too, but i love 5 gals. when decorating my tanks my 5 and 20 gal are my favorite :)
