ok I have a 240 liter tank and a 60 liter tank
I had the 60 first but after cycling slowly introduce fish from my 60 to my 240 starting with the largest red tail I had because it was chasing the smaller one
so they have been sepreated for hmmm 2-months maybe well I didnt have a single baby guppy in my 60 someone said well guppys eat their own but they thought it might be the red tail (its heavy planted btw)
so today I moved the other red tail shark over to the bigger tank immediately they started twitching and doing what looks like a dance one swims belly up the other normal rubbing thier bodies together
r they mating
I thought they were egg layers.
it lasted 30 minutes and now the bígger one that was peaceful is chasing all other tank mates esp the molly
the odv would be to move the smaller one back to the 60 liter tank
but it they are a mating pair shouldnt they be kept together?
