Red-Tail Shark

I heard that the Red-Tail shark will eat cucumber. Is this true?

Hi Jesse,
Red tailed sharks do like to graze on algae.I have kept these and although never tried cucumber have fed the occassional shelled blanched pea.

My red tailed black shark loves to eat courgette, although he has to be quick before the pleco get hold of it.
