the color of some red tail catfish from front(lower area) is white(no strip, all white)...n some are gray(making a strip of white color only)..
why is this so?
r these different breeds?
or they belong to diff places?temp diff?

or its due to sex..male female??
or they can change it from white to gray n gray to white?
or any other reason?

Can't explain that one,
I'm not sure photo 3 is a redtail catfish,
but i will have a look at other species of asian catfish.

Photo 2 red tail that originates in South America,
other photos are Asian Red tails,
different strains, same as lots of other fish!

the 1st 2 pictures are both south american RTC, but their color depends on what they mostly.
so they may be from different areas of the river and are eating different foods.... :book:
