MY RED PARROY SEAMS TO KEEP RUBBIN HIMSELF
AGAINS THINGS LIKE MY BOG WOOD
AND OBJECTS IN THERE AND ON THE GRAVEL
IVE HAD HIM FOR ABOUT 1WEEK
JUST STARTED THE RUBBIN THING 2DAY FOR ABOUT 5MINS
THEN SEAMS TO BE FINE NOW
PLS HELP

then i wouldn't worry about it too much unless he starts doing it all the time

fish have weird behaviors sometimes.
Probably he was just itchy and rubbing himself against a rock made it all better for him :)

have you tested the water. sometimes the water chemistry isnt right or maybe he has a parasite.

it could be because its died, and is trying to rub the die off
Not all parrots are dyed you know.. ((its also spelt DYED not DIED))

Like the others have said check your water parameters, you might also have a parasite. Any abnormalities on his body like fuzz or anything like that?

Could he not just be a bit horny? My cichlids do that all the time and a few days later there are females with eggs! I think it would either be that or a bit of stress. How big is the tank and what else do you have in there?

I recall my parrot itching for a couple of days, here and there.........then......NOTHING!!!

He was fine :dunno:
