Overhere a short video of one of my red mangrove crabs (Pseudosesarma moeshi) in a paladarium. At some pint you'll see this crab trying to grab a blind cave fish (Astyanax mexicanus). But eventhough this fish is blind, it will escape from a crab easily. These fish can't see but uses its lateral line that will sense the envirtoment. The species Astyanax mexicanus has got two different versions of species. One that lives in caves and that's blind and version that does have eyes which occurs in open waters. Mine are the blind versions of this species.
