Hello, Need advice. I have a red eyed tetra with a swollen belly. 90 gallon tank with perfect water. She will swim with her tankmates yet will swim vertical at times. She is able to swim up and down. Wondering if pregnant or constipated. tried to feed a pea but wont eat. Gave epson salt bath yesterday for five minutes. Also put API medicine for swollen belly in tank. Any advice? Thanks

Hiya, sorry you're having to deal with this. If you can answer these questions (I know you've answered a couple already) that will help give a better idea of what's going on.

1. Water parameters. (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, PH, temp', Hardness etc)
2. A full description of the fishes symptoms.
3. How often you do water changes and how much.
4. Any chemicals and treatments you add to the water.
5. What tank mates are in the tank.
6. Tank size.
7. Finally Have you recently added any new fish?

Also what have you been feeding/how much? What was the medication you added? It's generally not a good idea to add meds before knowing what the cause of the problem is.
