Red Claw Crab Dead Or Molting?! *help*

So I bought some RCCs and after about two days one of them I found upside down with the flap open. I read around that this may indicate that he is molting. Around after I came home from work the female was then sitting out in the open not moving from the same spot for almost 2 hours so I decided to kind of russle around her if she was alive and she moved but very slightly and slowly. I then thought at this point that the male may have been dead so I moved him and now I think I may have stress killed him. Just today the third one I found upside down with the flap open. I fear that I may have just not had enough land or maybe the water was too cold? I am extremely saddened that I may have killed 3 of these fascinating creatures

I have never purchased any crabs.  However I did a web search and these are salt water / brackish /hard  water crabs.  T A rapid change to very soft water  might shock or kill them.
