Well, I finally took the time to trim my over grown plants, and re-arranged them so that the tank didn't look like just bush. :p

Anyway, hope you guys like; I want to plant the foreground with glosso but other-wise I like it!

And the fish seem much more active now that they have swimming space where they don't have to move around plants. :p

Nice... Looks like the fish like it too! If you do try the glosso, read up on planting it first. It's great once it's established, but a total pain in the butt to plant. By the looks of your plants, I'm guessing you have adequate light for glosso. Do you have CO2 in there?

Colin

NO!!!!! And I was trying sooooo hard to conceal the CO2 device . . . :p

Anyway, thanks for the compliments, and tip from u colin. Glosso, cut the plantlets and then plant with tweezers right? Anyway, the point is moot because the LFs brought in riccia today and I couldn't resist . . . I planted it in the foreground with hair-nets onto rocks; it'll be a while before you can't see the hair net anymore, so this might be the last tank photo for quite a while . . .

Nice... I've wanted to pick up some riccia, but no one local ever has it. I'll have to get it brought in like I did with glosso. You'll have to show some pics of it developing over the next little while. It'd be interesting to see a photo journal of it as it grows and pearls...

Colin

Oh! That's a cool idea. I'll keep you guys updated. Actually, I had way WAY too much riccia, so I ended up dumping all the rest into my 20 gal. I'm going to let it grow natural as a floating plant in there . . . just to ensure I will always have a good supply. :D Maybe when there's enough I'll plant the 20 gal with it too . . .

That tank is gorgeous! I really like the look of the planted tanks, I love it when I add new plants to mine, but yours looks amazing. Well done.

Steph

Here's a new pic with the planted riccia.

Please excuse the cucumber, but it was time to feed the oto . . . :p

Some reason the honey gourami eats it too . . . -_-

Thanks!

Hmm, do you have to worry about cichlids being torn up by the GSP? I would think they could defend themselves . . . then again GSP is kind of big?
